How We Use AI
We use AI everywhere we can, and we tell you where. It’s our business, and we’d rather show you than hide it.
Our digital employees are AI
The staff we place on your org chart, and the team that runs our own sales and marketing, are AI workers with names and job descriptions. Luke, Ezra and Lydia are AI, not people. When you hear from one of them, you’re hearing from AI, and we’ll say so.
They work on their own, with people in charge
Our digital employees do their daily work without someone approving each step. A short, fixed list of big decisions always needs a human’s express permission: sending anything outside the business, publishing, spending money, and changing who has access to what.
What happens to what you send us
Messages and form entries are read by our digital employees, who summarize them, log them in our CRM and draft replies. A person on our team reads every message and stays responsible for what we send back. The AI providers we use may process that information to do this work. See our Privacy Policy.
What we make with AI
Much of this website, our blog posts, videos and social posts are drafted or produced with AI and reviewed by a person before they go out. Images made with AI are labeled “AI-generated image.” Some videos use an AI avatar of our founder, Tim New, and are labeled as such.
Building in public
We’re building our own digital team in the open and writing about what we learn on Watch us build. That record is also written with AI help.
Your business, under your agreement
If you hire digital employees from us, how they handle your information is set out in our signed agreement with you. Nothing on this website changes that agreement.
